John and Dean Baldwin have made the Virgin Islands home for more than 30 years. Their love for the Caribbean and its laid-back lifestyle led them to settle in St. John, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where they owned Frames of Mind Gallery in the Old Lumber Yard Complex – which was destroyed by the 2017 hurricanes – and the SugarBirds gift shop in Mongoose Junction.
Frames of Mind/SugarBirds, located in Cruz Bay, provides the perfect base for John and Dean to explore their individual artistic approaches to celebrating the serenity and beauty they have discovered in the islands and the surrounding Caribbean waters.
